Resumen
In Colombia, the concept of Living Library has been consolidating through the years. Across the national territory, library infrastructures are at the foundation of institutional services that guarantee access to culture and information. Based on a case study, the following qualitative research inquires about the imaginary meanings of children who are library users at Carlos E. Restrepo Public Library (Bogotá, Colombia) where they find alternative services and programs intermediated by the staff in a creative and meaningful way. This case study makes use of iconography and interviews as techniques that achieve representative findings voiced by the children. Hence, the most regular and genuine users who visit the library on a daily basis, make the analysis of the current situation of libraries possible.
