Subjetividades Políticas en Resistencia a través de la Fe: el Caso de la Comunidad Menonita Veráguas

Abstract

The conflictive relationship between science and faith seems to be an endless issue, generating different repercussions in different human spheres, one of them is precisely the configuration of subjectivities, which from their own dynamics, constitute elements of strength, strategy and power. Having said the above, the unification of categories such as faith and political subjectivity presents difficulties, especially if faith is not necessarily understood as a religious structure of domination, but as a possibility that, from a spiritual perspective and from certain forms of association, contributes to forming political subjectivities that by means of concrete actions, seem to detach themselves from the institutional and state imposed order, creating ruptures and significant journeys to the logic of war, economic production, militarism and the general worldview.
