Resumen
The following research is based on the documentary analysis of the educational project that for about 26 years was an important element of the district educational system, the CEMDIZOB plan; analyzing and understanding the state of public policies that framed its origin and closure. Given this, the detailed legislation is presented throughout this document (Laws, Decrees, Resolutions) as they provide and envision the social-political context framed in the development of this plan. On the other hand, it is important to highlight the fundamental role of the Government in the formulation and implementation of public educational policy seen through the issuance of the Educational Sector Plans of the national and district governments that established the national public policy agenda. However, the documentary analysis proposed in this research involves the development of the categories of analysis not only from the perspective of the analysis of Public Policies, but also, the relationship between cultural diversity and the configuration of artistic education in the school, developed throughout the implementation of the Diversified Secondary Education and the bachelor’s in arts of the CEMDIZOB plan is considered.
