Resumen
A tool for access control based on shift encryption, variable-length keys, and time and identification elements. This document addresses the problem of access control systems in residential buildings, which present significant security and efficiency gaps. In this context, efficiency refers to the system's response times, that is, the time it takes from the moment the user generates their QR code in the mobile application until access is verified and the door is opened.Today, common methods, such as physical cards or static access codes, present numerous vulnerabilities, such as duplication, theft, or unauthorized use. These limitations were resolved through the creation of a dynamic access control system based on QR codes, implemented through a mobile application. This system uses a proprietary encryption algorithm that produces dynamic keys using shift encryption and a variable key, providing a more secure and effective solution. The entire project includes the design of a database to store user credentials, the development of a mobile application that produces QR codes that are updated every 3 seconds, and the installation of a verification system using the FM3080 Hind scanner and the Raspberry Pi. This allowed the system to validate accesses in an average time of 2 seconds, seamlessly managing 80 consecutive accesses, improving speed and security compared to systems that use static codes.
