Resumen
The Administrative Unit of Public Services, in order to comply with the environmental compensation measures imposed by the environmental authority, acquired a series of rural properties in the Vereda Mochuelo Bajo in the locality of Ciudad Bolívar, these properties have a hydric and ecosystem importance, since they regulate and supply the area's water resources, thus favoring the preservation of the Páramo de Sumapaz. In accordance with the above, the ecological rehabilitation of these areas was prioritized, an action that has been carried out in agreement with the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden of Bogotá, therefore, this work had the objective of monitoring and tracking the species native plants used in the rehabilitation models implemented, this in order to identify the plant species that had the best response to the ecological rehabilitation actions developed and based on this, establish an approximation of the successional state of this project. To carry out the follow-up and monitoring, a quantitative methodology was used for non-experimental research with correlation, therefore, permanent plots were established according to the methodology proposed by Gentry in 1995, these plots were arranged through the selection at random in order to locate them equitably, after this, dasometric data were taken and analyzed through the interpretation of Person's correlation coefficient, factors such as height above sea level were also taken into account in addition to climatic characterization of the area. The results obtained indicated that the mortality rate of the project is 7%, that the canopy and the basal area of the species grow rapidly and that according to the IVI the species that had the best response to the implemented actions were Escallonia pendula, Myrcianthes leucoxyla and Stevia lucida, finally, according to the development of the species, the successional state of the property is categorized as secondary in the initial state.
