Abstract

Having a data matrix of neighborhood records that need to be collected as part of the quality control for onshore seismic exploration projects in Colombia is of great importance. This is because it serves to prevent potential claims or lawsuits from the communities and also aids in correcting any misconceptions about possible undesired impacts on socio-environmental elements during project execution. ActasSA is a geographic tool that originates from the necessity of having information available to users responsible for quality control in the environmental management of onshore seismic exploration projects. These users are interested in verifying compliance with socio-environmental distances concerning points of detonation or vibration in relation to socio-environmental elements such as buildings and bodies of water, defined in the Environmental Management Plan of the project.
