Resumen
In Colombia there is a great disinformation and disinterest in history, causing a low level of patriotism and absence of national identity. In addition to this, the teaching of history as a single chair disappeared from the elementary and high school curriculum and the social sciences was created, an integration of history with geography, political constitution and democracy, totally changing the focus, objectives and themes taught in this subject.
History has an inherent geographical component, thinking about "where" the events happened, forces us to think about a point in space. From there arises the possibility of developing an application that uses augmented reality based on geolocation to visualize data and historical images of the Traditional Center of Bogotá, complementing the class of social sciences of the schools, contributing to the "Plan de Revitalización del Centro Tradicional de Bogotá – PRCTB" and generating a cultural, tourist and technological contribution for the capital.
