Abstract

The company PROYECTOS ESTRUCTURALES Y CONSTRUCCION S.A.S. hires the intern Andrés Camilo Caceres Gomez with the purpose of making constant accompaniment in the rehabilitation work on the roofs of the residential complex Acuarela located in Locality 4 (San Cristóbal). The construction company grants the course of SECURITY AND SAFE WORK IN HEIGHTS to the intern, as it is a requirement of the engineer Hernán Herrera, controllers of the work. Once the work is started, the resident intern performs functions such as ensuring the safety of the crew of workers verifying that they are always tied to the lifeline and with all the safety equipment, since when working at great heights the risk of accident rate is high, as well as having all the documentation of each worker, with the aim of always being prepared to any incident at work and respond effectively to any situation. At the same time, based on the recommendations of the project supervisor, the intern maintains a constant relationship with the community with the intention of collecting information that can help to control the work and fulfill the office activities that consist of the realization of record plans, management of the work log, surveys and progress reports of the project.
