Sistema para la gestión de los procesos administrativos en un gimnasio

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop a management system for the administration of a gym, aimed at optimizing processes related to employee payroll, equipment inventory, class scheduling, and membership management. The system was designed using Flask as the backend framework, MySQL as the database management system, and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the visual and interactive layers of the application. Among its main features are user management by roles: administrator, trainer, member, technician, and receptionist as well as check-in control, assignment of training plans, equipment maintenance management, and visualization of machine availability. This project seeks to provide a practical and accessible tool that facilitates the administration of gym resources and improves the efficiency of daily operations. In addition, it contributes to the strengthening of academic and technical training in web application development through the use of modern and open-source technologies.
