Resumen
The songs of the western Andean axis are a national reference, the resources that range from their polyrhythms to the characteristic sound of acoustic instruments with orders of triple strings such as the bandola and tiple, passing through the repertoire, within which the most recognized and those that are not so much have been evolving into referents of Colombian music, for example Leon Cardona and the modern harmonies that present their pieces. On the other hand we have the aesthetic references that set a precedent in the tradition of Western academic music, more precisely we point to Béla Bartók, who also became interested in the folklore and popular music of his country. In this document we find a series of compositions that introduce an approach to what could be called a fusion of styles, combining characteristic elements of pasillo and bambuco with some of the most interesting features in the pieces of the hungarian composer.
