Hilvanando la cuarta hoja del trébol: conocimiento cotidiano a través del dibujo prosaico

Abstract

The drawing is a simple and versatile medium that underlies almost all human activities and enrolled in everyday social context and has different uses. In practice, teaching and learning have primacy drawing disciplinary classifications that reduce the possibility of using open and freely. I relied on my experience as an artist, some ideas of artists and authors from other disciplines (matching objects in their study experience, drawing, knowledge and everyday life), I propose drawing category prosaic; prosaic understanding, and aesthetic of everyday life, usually invisible and invisible by culture and academia. Through a qualitative interpretation I categorize some prosaic drawings Sixta Piedra and Julio Cortés, according to levels of synthesis, abstraction and detail. I concluded that the prosaic drawing, is an unskilled, possible in all people, that by their nature can relate indisciplinar different fields of knowledge and promote the common, open and free possibility to use drawing. The prosaic drawing is gestural, graphic and cognitive heritage of human beings and can help spark your creativity: their dignity.
