Resumen
This research project focuses on the promotion of sexual inclusion practices oriented to human development in formal caregivers of adolescents with mild intellectual disabilities in the city of Bogotá, for which qualitative research was developed, with a field design aimed at a collective case study with a descriptive-explanatory scope. Experiential and psychoeducational spaces were generated in virtual mode in which two mothers of adolescents aged 13 and 15 years diagnosed with mild intellectual disability participated. The results of the research indicate that the participating caregivers recognize the sexuality of those attended, although there is still certain ignorance regarding the breadth of sexuality and ways of accompanying their experience. Similarly, it is possible to conclude the importance of continuing to create spaces for care in which it is possible to give voice to experiences and fears, and in this way to understand sexuality as an enabler of human development.
