Estructuración y Formulación de un Modelo de Secuenciación y Asignación de Productos y Medios de Transporte a Muelles de Carga

Abstract

The document presents the structure of a model of sequencing and assignment of products and means of transport to loading docks. The problem is to determine which trucks should be assigned to each dock and, simultaneously, which dispatch orders are to be loaded on which trucks making use of the forklifts available in the system. It defines the geometry of the system (parameters and varaible) and the assumptions involved that allow parameterization of the problem as scheduling. It is formulated a heuristic algorithm which allows to obtain an initial feasible solution to the problem, later, the Tabu Search is used as a mechanism to find new solutions. The verification of the procedure is done by means of software programmed in Visual Basic of Excel.
