Abstract

The main objective of this document is to make an exhaustive review of costing techniques over which have focused the most important journals in the world over the last 10 years. A thorough review that will establish who are the principal authors, what the main sources, what techniques costing were more explored and their evolution over the observed period. Through the document costing techniques that were identified as the most significant in the selected items will be briefly explained. It will also delve into the specific techniques used in the two sectors that have more representation in the study costing techniques: construction and IT. Finally the document identify the gap to be covered by new researchers who wish to venture into uncharted in the study of costing techniques and their application fields.
