Abstract

This work was carried out with the purpose of developing a project focused on the development of a business plan that serves as guidance for the creation of a company that is responsible for the production and marketing of mushroom mycelium of the genus Psilocybe Cubensis for the city. of Bogotá, where a series of processes are established that can benefit the citizens who require these as medicine to alleviate their health problems, for this reason it is considered that the project seeks in order to be a "seed" supplier. for mycologists and hobbyists in the country, in response to the increase in demand for alternative treatments against anxiety and depression in society after the COVID-19 pandemic (WHO, 2022), where market research is proposed that allows Establish the target population along with the opportunities and threats of the sector through benchmarking that helps establish optimal distribution and promotion channels. In addition, analyzing technical, legal and financial aspects that allow for an accurate projection of the company's design (production, marketing and distribution of the product). Finally, the operating costs will be estimated along with the initial investment necessary for the execution of the project, in addition to determining the environmental, social and cultural impact of the use and production of this type of mushrooms in the country, highlighting that this is a project that is viable to execute due to the benefits it brings to the community and that there is technical feasibility for its development, being also an aspect that can generate profitability for people who wish to start it, where in addition to providing a benefit for citizens, it also offers profits for the managers or those in charge of implementing it.
