Resumen
In “La Hermosa” micro watershed located in the town of “La Palma” (Cundinamarca), the carbon content in the biomass of the forested cover was estimated in order to define lines of action focusing on conservation and increasing amounts of carbon stored in each of the covers. The lifting of the forested cover was performed using a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), with it 11220 aerial photographs were taken to be subsequently processed to obtain an orthophotomosaic, it was interpreted according to legend Corine Land Cover (IDEAM, 2010) adapted to a scale 1: 5000, a total of 22 types of covers were found. From this information, stratified sampling with n optimal was applied to determine the number of plots (33 plots) and therefore proceeded to estimate the carbon per cover applying the methodology proposed by the IDEAM (Yepes et al., 2011) based on the floristic information per cover and in the application of allometric equations. For the total number of covers, 47 families, 69 genera and 86 species were found in 3310 individuals evaluated and it was estimated that cover with more contain of carbon is natural forest with 51.3 TnC/ha, followed by eucalyptus plantations (17, 7 TnC/ha), agroforestry systems(16.9 TnC/ ha), pine plantations (12.5 TnC/ha) and scattered trees (1.7 TnC/ha).
