This document evidences the role of the Environmental Manager in the evaluation and analysis of the organic compost produced by beetles of the Scarabaeidae family in the company Tierra Viva located in the Runta village in the municipality of Tunja Boyacá-Colombia, using as a basis a qualitative research methodology, determining first an analysis of the microbiological load of salmonella, aerobic mesophiles, enterobacteria, fungi, yeasts and physical-chemical aspects such as pH, humidity, electrical conductivity, ashes, carbonates, among others; followed by a comparison of the performance and effectiveness of Tierra Viva compost versus Forza worm humus and compost produced by a local vegetable garden in the town of Bosa in the city of Bogota, Colombia on the species Lactuca sativa, and finally, an analysis of the perception and purchase intention in regional agriculture, The target group included students of the environmental administration career of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas located in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, and the rural population of the municipality of Tunja, Runta village in Boyacá, which in turn allowed expanding the population segment of the company analyzed.
