Comunicación entre PLC marca Festo y PSoC 5 implementando el sistema SCADA de CODESYS para el control y supervisión de una planta de producción de gelatina

Abstract

This document contains the description of a system designed and implemented for the production of liquid gelatin. Four stages were necessary for the elaboration of said system, the first stage consists of sensing variables such as temperature and water level, acquired through the PSoC microcontroller, the second stage is based on the communication made between the PSoC 5 microcontroller and the Festo PLC for data transmission, the third stage is responsible for the control of the entire system based on an On / Off control and the fourth stage is made up of an HMI where the entire process can be visualized through Codesys software. The entire system is carried out to demonstrate that using additional tools we can expand the features and scope of the PLC.
