Resumen
The current need to reduce non-technical energy losses, also called commercial losses, has become important for marketers since they represent a value close to 87 billion pesos per year. The low supply of calibration laboratories for electric energy meters in the south of the country led to the option of developing an entrepreneurial project for the creation of a calibration laboratory that works in the south of the country and meets the potential demand there. In the research and development of the different stages of the project it was determined the demand and supply of this market, marketing methods, different methods for the realization of the calibration of energy meters, machinery and equipment to supply the demand and different forms of financing due to its high initial investment.
