Resumen
This project presents the implementation of a scaled prototype of an automated greenhouse for the production of medicinal cannabis in Colombia, which is already operational. The prototype design stands out for its efficiency and structural resilience, incorporating technologies to optimize cultivation and improve the quality of the final product. Capacitive and resistive sensors have been integrated to measure soil moisture, as well as ambient temperature and humidity. Additionally, automated control systems and actuators manage the greenhouse’s lighting, irrigation, and ventilation. A remote management platform (website) allows real-time monitoring and visualization of data and parameters from any location. Special emphasis has been placed on energy fficiency, personnel safety, and adaptability to various production scales during its development. This project not only aims to achieve high standards of quality and sustainability but also to contribute to the advancement of the medicinal cannabis industry in the country. The electronic development and system design were carried out at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José De Caldas, while prototype testing and cannabis cultivation were conducted at the proponent's residence
