Resumen
From the perspective of cadastral engineering and geodesy, it is recognized that the organization of society and territory largely depends on the information collected about properties. This information, obtained through detailed censuses covering physical, legal, and economic aspects, constitutes what is known as cadastre. Currently, there is a push to expand this concept through multipurpose cadastre, where Colombia focuses its efforts on territorial development, sustainability, legal and food security, among other aspects. Therefore, the constant updating of this information is crucial to achieve these objectives and ensure a more just and equitable territorial management. In this context, the use of urban planning permits to obtain cadastral data emerges as an important tool, allowing the municipality to maintain an updated cadastre and, consequently, promoting more effective territorial management and planning.
