Resumen
In this work, it is proposed to experiment with nested analog controllers in a boost converter in order to emulate the dynamic behavior of a wind generator. The emulation will be carried out using a bidirectional power source, employing the OPAL-RT 4510 platform in conjunction with RT-LAB software and Matlab. The performance of different control topologies (single-loop vs. nested loops) and of the MPPT reference generator will be analyzed, with the aim of optimizing the system’s response to changes in wind conditions. What is the most suitable control structure for a boost converter to operate as a maximum power point tracker (MPPT), when emulating specific points of wind power profile curves through bidirectional sources, using Matlab, RT-LAB, and the OPAL-RT platform with DC-DC converter modules?
