Resumen
The research work developed highlights how the difficulties encountered by students for understanding the mathematical object linear and affine function, reported in previous research, remain in force. While this mathematical object has been the subject of study in numerous investigations, many of them aimed at improving teaching and learning, the complexity of its interpretation is evident, the difficulty to recognize and articulate different representations, as well as model situations or phenomena; apparently as a result of disarticulated and decontextualized that this mathematical object has been "presented" to students, without addressing the notions of variation and dependence form. The overall purpose of this research was to conduct an intervention in the classroom, which will allow the constitution of the variable "mental objects" and dependence, fundamental understanding of linear and affine function concept, from the adaptation and implementation of a set contextualized tasks in which different representations associated with this concept is used.
