Abstract

In Colombia, the historical debt in education at the rural level has reached alarming figures. For this reason, El Ministerio de Educación Nacional proposes various strategies to reduce the existing gap and ensure an action plan that addresses the need of each context, enhancing the quality, capacity and coverage for girls, boys, youth and adolescents. Thiseffort is a joint collaboration between teachers, tutors, school administrators, families and interns. Aiming to be strengthened, Tutorías para el aprendizaje y la Formación Integral, formerly known as Programa Todos a Aprender, mobilizes interns from all over the country to many of territories in an initiative that includes integral education, socio- emotional development, education for life and support for teachers in implementing areas of interest in each Educational Institution reached by the program.
