Resumen
Oca Global Colombia S.A.S is a company with extensive experience in providing technical assistance in various industrial sectors, including the Public Lighting service in the city of Bogotá and municipalities of Cundinamarca. To guarantee quality service and satisfy the demands of its clients, like Enel X, it is crucial to be at the forefront of new developments and updates in information management and quality control. The main objective of this thesis work is to improve information management and quality control in the Public Lighting service, focusing on the detection and correction of Non-Conforming Products (PNC). To achieve this, a statistical analysis has been designed that will identify patterns and trends in PNC reports over a period of one year, between June 2022 and June 2023. The statistical analysis will address key aspects, such as the causes of PNCs, the number of reports received and their frequency. These findings will be essential for the development of a detailed guide that defines how the daily tasks associated with information management should be executed. This guide will facilitate the early identification of possible non-conformities and will ensure consistency and quality in data collection and processing. In addition, it is proposed to adapt the procedure for collecting and closing work orders related to information management. This approach will ensure proper completion of tasks and adequate recording of associated costs, improving the efficiency and transparency of the process. The thesis work also contemplates the validation of the proposed strategy to improve quality control. To do this, an evaluation method will be used that will allow measuring the impact of the improvements implemented on customer satisfaction and the reduction of PNC. The development of this degree work has made it possible to identify and address key areas to improve information management and quality control in the Public Lighting service.
