Resumen
Colombian educational context for English learners is in constant searching of strategies to make English learning endures in students, to achieve the purpose of making of it their L2 (second language) an instrument for human development. Next pages detail the most important aspect of this puppet theatre show creation that takes advantage of creative writing, neurolinguistics, bilingualism, puppets theatre and project based learning as linguistic tools, to provide a suitable language teaching and learning material to endow students with emotional intelligence and language skills, through the use of artistic practices that engage them to an emotional context of language acquisition, that prepares them to stage scenery performance for open audiences, in English L2. The artistic creation was shown in a rural school of 20 students, with scarce English lesson during the week and low proficiency level in English L2. The description of the material with pictures as well as the development of a workshop and some relevant aspects of the development of it are mentioned. Finally, there is a proposal for a long-term English L2 project, to insert arts as an emotional practice in teachers´ English L2 classes to create a flexible environment of potential reliability in language through social practice.
