Abstract

This document corresponds to the systematization of the pedagogical project carried out during the years 2021 and 2022, following the consolidation of a proposal for pedagogical articulation to strengthen the organizational processes in the Las Mercedes village, belonging to the municipality of Tello, in the department of Huila. After conducting a characterization of the territory in terms of geography, demographics, education, environment, economy, and land use; the construction and development of the perspective of Popular Education are presented, which made possible the pedagogical work hand in hand with the community and the Community Action Board of the village. This document significantly contributes to the knowledge about Las Mercedes village, considering that existing documentation is almost non-existent. Consequently, it presents a collective narrative that recovers the memory of the people who inhabit there and the history of the Community Action Board as a decision-making and participation body within the village. Likewise, it raises reflections and approaches regarding Popular Education, state abandonment, and, above all, the division between rurality and urbanity.
