In this degree work in the internship modality that was developed at the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute, the activities related to the preparation, classification, purification and cartographic production of the real estate information of the city of Manizales according to current regulations are detailed, for the calculation of the Property Valuation Index (IVP). On the other hand, taking as input the information collected, the changes found in the city were determined through a diagnosis of the cadastral update carried out by the Cadastral Manager MASORA, in addition, the incidence in the change of the values in the real estate for residential use based on the Housing Construction Costs Index and was contrasted with the change in the demand for real estate for residential use during the quarantine by Covid-19, in order to finally obtain an analysis of the real estate dynamics in the city of Manizales for the year 2022.
