Abstract

The Amacayacu National Natural Park, located in the Department of Amazonas, plays a crucial role in biodiversity conservation and ecological balance, focusing on protecting floodplain and tropical wet forests, maintaining species diversity, and promoting sustainable development in collaboration with indigenous communities. Since the late 1980s, community-based ecotourism has been a key strategy, especially after the visitor center closed in 2010, with local communities now leading ecotourism activities. The research proposes a methodology for the integral management of the cultural ecosystem service of ecotourism in the park, aiming to balance tourist demand with ecosystem conservation, following recommendations from experts in the field. The results focus on enhancing the ecotourism activity offerings and optimizing management through community participation and environmental education
