Resumen
Proposal of documentary research whose scope is to determine the conception of subject and identity contained in the official documents that guide the teaching of the mother language in Colombia. The approach of the concepts of subject and identity is made from the content analysis and the hermeneutical interpretation of the base texts, using fichas, managers and management tools that allowed the organization and systematization of the information according to the categories, units of analysis and variables determined for methodological development. The discussion focuses on the conception of the subject and the identity that emerges from the analysis of curriculum guidelines and standards for the area of Spanish language and its correlation with the authors used as referents in the theoretical framework (Echevarría, Bruner, Foucault, Bustamante, etc.), which finally allows for a hermeneutic interpretation of the subject, in order to clarify the importance of the subject and the identity in the teaching of the mother tongue.
