Resumen
This work describes the memories of a semiotic musical creation in the maxi single: Mi carta de amor, which is a musical production of four songs for voice and piano. The texts of the songs are taken from the reading and interpretation of the Bible, which is a widespread practice that occurs under the current of protestant christianity. From the texts are produced musical symbols that represent the concepts pertaining to christianity that are supported by biblical texts and that are exposed before, to identify how this proposal of creation causes a dialogue between two systems, christianity and music. To contextualize the reader, a brief description of the musical semiotics, christianity, the Bible, Jesus the Christ, the history of christian music, as well as some musical references in which the musical evidences represent the text that belongs to the work. The body of work consists of two elements: the written text and a CD containing the musical production of the maxi single: My love letter, which serves as a sound record that evidences the memories exposed in the text and the musical result that was molded by the created symbols.
