This research develops the inference of the Visual Arts in the perceptual and social process of mother and child in conditions of disability within an environment of confinement. For which, public and private entities specialized in the subject and legislation were consulted, as well as different currents of authors in various areas of knowledge, to understand the dynamics of the human psyche, the way of relating to the environment, the vision world, and the relationship with the inhabited space and, in turn, the perception of it. With this, a viable approach is sought, where art constitutes the bases for the opening of new frontiers that articulate, in a complementary manner, different disciplines of mental health, in order to find the best possible alternative in the improvement of the living conditions of this population. In the artistic interventions created by the researcher in this commitment, their place of confinement is made visible inside the house, a space given for free and directed creation that leads to the enlargement, not only of a physical space inside the house previously uninhabited, but also generated through creative exploration, an increase in communication, in the cognitive and in the sensitive appreciation of the aesthetic enjoyment that permeates the possibility of being visible in their plastic expressions. It is here where drawing and painting make everyday life pleasant in the affirmation of their independence and in the articulation of the collective; In each of their creations, glimpsing the ability to show their thoughts, ideas, emotions and feelings according to their way of life and perception. With this, an infinity of possible worlds given by art can be configured for the wealth of this population and for the understanding of different minds. It is still difficult for us to understand disability in all its dimensions and what it constitutes for society, as it has to do with inclusion, acceptance and pre-eminence. For this reason, the confidence to carry out a noble and royal exercise is placed here, from the implementation of the use of art in this research exercise that seeks to articulate from some aspects of knowledge in the human from their feeling, thinking and acting, such as: philosophy, pedagogy, science, biology, medicine, poetics, physics, among others. This is shown by the exposed authors, the institutions that work in the population position and with whom we worked; teaching us to see that the greatest barriers are not those of those with a disability, but of those who do not understand their difference and become oblivious to their world and the wealth of their teachings.
