Resumen
Teleworking has emerged as a growing labor modality, driven by digital transformation and the expansion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). This monograph analyzes the impact of teleworking supported by ICT on occupational health and safety (OHS) among teleworkers in Bogotá, Colombia, during the period from 2020 to 2024, according to the established research parameters. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected through surveys conducted with teleworkers, the analysis of previous studies, and the review of current regulations. The results revealed that, while ICT has optimized productivity and work flexibility, there are risks that negatively affect workers' health and well-being, with ergonomic and psychosocial risks being the most prominent. Additionally, it was identified that Colombian companies have not correctly implemented OHS guidelines and regulations, highlighting the need to strengthen the execution and communication of the OHS Management System (SG-SST) to ensure effective working conditions for teleworkers.
