Resumen
This research observes how a team of the ‘Comandos Azules’ from Bogota, a hooligan group of the Millonarios Soccer Club constructs its musical identity. Submitted for the Master's degree in Artistic Studies conferred by the Faculty of Arts at the ‘Universidad Francisco José de Caldas’ in Bogota Colombia, it relates the interests of the research line ‘cultural studies of the arts’ and of the music psychology field. The methodology used has an ethnographic character and has been developed for over two years, mainly through participant observation. The researcher approached the polemical experience of ‘going native’, upon which sensitive knowledge is proposed as a result of her internal transformation. The use of ethnographic narrative is essential in this research report. It also finds support in some literary texts that refer to emotions and feelings of those who live this passion. Its contributions focus on the recognition of the importance of sensitive knowledge, on how it can contribute to understand complexly the phenomenon of soccer hooliganism asking for the uses of music in its conflictive construction of identity. The research proposes questions for the fields of artistic studies, aesthetics, cultural studies and music psychology.
