Protocolo de trabajo seguro para actividades de soldadura realizadas en talleres informales

Abstract

This paper aims to identify the main risks to which the informal workers dedicated to welding work in the Matatigres neighborhood in the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe are exposed. An analysis was made of the information that the local hospital had and visits were made, followed by surveys that allowed the identification of common safety conditions in most of the workshops, it is important to mention that some of the owners of the workshops were reluctant to provide information because they are in a process of relocation by the local mayor. During the visits, it was detected as a fundamental part, the fact that workers have the necessary information about the risks characteristic of their work, as well as, that they are provided with the necessary tools for the implementation of the prevention or correction measures to be applied on the risks to which they are exposed.
