Prácticas de la Imaginación: Aprendizaje Desde Una Experiencia Posdramática

Abstract

The intention of this project is to create a review about the experience gained on an academic exchange on Guadalajara University; in Mexico. I used the theory and practice because these are the best way in which I can: discover, appropriate, and recognize a staging. For this project I interviewed and then literally transcribed the words of professors and theater directors. They told us their point of view about post dramatic theater, for us to have a better understanding of the theory; because this concept was the focus of our staging. We were able to compare the opinions of the professors and directors with the well-known characteristics of Hans Thies Lehman post dramatic theater. This experience was fulfilling; for this process we used different concepts than the ones we had already learned and used on Francisco José de Caldas University in the ASAB faculty; giving us the opportunity to perform scenes on plays, with the use of new terminologies, new theater characteristics and guidelines.
