Propuesta metodológica para el diseño del sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo conforme a la norma ohsas18.001:2007 para empresas del sector de la construcción: estudio de caso Fabal Construcciones S.A.S

Abstract

Due to the externalities that emerged from the growth known until today, there is an imminent need to implement measures within the companies that guarantee the well-being and quality of life of their workers, since they are the ones who develop the activity aimed to customers. The continuous improvement of companies is based, among other aspects, on the strengthening of management tools that facilitate the proper execution oftheir activities and guarantees the social and business responsibility of many sectors of the economy of the country, such as construction sector. In this sense, guidelines were created that responds to three specific objectives for the creation of a management system in occupational safety and health that lead to the improvement of practices in civil works. In fact, health and safety constitute a cyclical component of continuous improvement. In addition this is shown as a tool that provides to the construction sector a guideline for the design and implementation of the management system of its organization supported by the OHSAS 18.001: 007 standard in accordance with the criteria of the OIT.
