Resumen
The project consists of comparing, analyzing and verifying the feasibility and viability of two trenchless methodologies such as, Pipe Bursting and Directed Horizontal Drilling (PHD) for the conditions of Bogotá DC, since trenchless methods are used in low proportion for the installation and renovation of aqueduct and sewerage networks in Colombia, and emerge as a constructive alternative to reduce the impact on mobility and visual pollution, among other effects with respect to the traditional method with a ditch. To carry out the comparative analysis, technical parameters were selected, in addition to costs and execution times in order to establish the viability of the two methodologies without trench, in the conditions of the city of Bogotá DC. The results show that the PHD and Pipe Bursting are suitable for channeling new networks at road crossings and renovating existing networks in public spaces in the city of Bogotá DC, reducing the social and environmental impact of the interventions.
