Resumen
The report proposes the creation of an alternative model of multiplication called splitting, organized by the ratio and proportion concepts through the context of geometric shapes of the golden section; which originates from recursive models that can strengthen mathematical activity, in order to contribute to research in the field of multiplicative thinking in the teaching and learning process. Thus, the current project is characterized by design, implement and analyze a sequence of tasks under the paradigm of Realistic Mathematics Education and Teaching EMR phenomenology of ratio and proportion, proposed by Freudenthal (2001); under the model of teaching experiment (qualitative research), which emphasizes the creation of learning environment through micro- retrospective analyzes that allow characterize the mathematization of seventh graders (private institution, located in Bogota, DC ). Also, determine the importance of representations, models, arguments of students and characteristics of context generator sense in the constitution of the splitting in school practice.
