Resumen
When referring to logistics, the term may become associated with different activities such as purchasing management, production, transport, storage, distribution and collection. Within transport logistics, what is done mainly it is to make the movement of different types of documents, products, materials and inputs (called shipments) by land or air from one source to one destination. In Colombia (Acosta de Valencia, 2004): "Freight transport is an activity fundamental in the Colombian productive apparatus since it is the sector that allows a product reaches the final consumer, generates the circulation of goods and energizes the economy & quot; To carry out the distribution process of these shipments, we begin with the sale of the service by the logistics company where a guide is generated which is the document that allows to identify all the characteristics of the shipments which has a unique number that allows to identify each shipment throughout its logistics cycle. These numbers of guidance are important both for the company and for the client as they allow know the shipment's membership, the traceability of each shipment, the status of the shipment, the conditions of the service and are the main input to be able to generate the service by of the logistics company since according to the current regulations the identification by means of a guide number is an integral part of the shipment. Apart from this, these numbers of guides that represent the shipments mobilized by each logistics operator must be reported quarterly to the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) according to what is regulated in Law 1369 of 2009. The present project originates because of the problems that arise in the process of a company in the transport logistics sector that operates in our country. Saying process is responsible for making the provision of the number ranges of guides to the service centers and corporate clients of the company so that they can generate the shipments This process does not have an optimal flow and good response times without numbers of guides available to the sales channels of the company causing the generation of shipments and therefore economic losses for the company, for indirect service centers or franchises since if they do not generate sales do not commission, bad attention and service to customers since you can not provide the service and generating a bad image and reputation for the company. To give a solution to this problem, the development of this project poses for the improvement of the process of provision of guides the realization of the modeling of the optimum flow of the process so that a solution for the development of software that includes: requirements engineering, software architecture design, development of the solution and operational delivery of the solution, in order to achieve improvement in the times of the whole process, the timely response to the internal and external client guaranteeing the availability of number ranges of guides in sales channels, contributing to avoid economic losses in addition to contributing to the maintenance of the image and reputation of the company. In addition to this, the solution proposes to minimize the human interaction within the process flow and take advantage of the use of software to maximize the value that the process brings within the value chain of the organization.
