Sensibilización sobre el rol ecológico del orden Lepidoptera apoyado de una infografía informativa como estrategia de educación ambiental aplicada en las experiencias ambientales del Jardín Botánico de Bogotá José Celestino Mutis

Abstract

The Lepidoptera order comprises a group of insects that includes butterflies and moths, respectively. Colombia ranks as the second country with the highest diversity of these individuals, yet there is a general lack of awareness regarding the ecological role of these insects. The study was conducted at the Bogotá Jose Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden, within the interpretation line, where an environmental experience was designed. The main objective of this experience was to raise awareness among visitors to the Bogotá Botanical Garden about the significance of the Lepidoptera order, emphasizing its biological and ecological aspects. This was achieved with the support of an informative infographic that presented the information in a clear and concise manner. This awareness gave good results by generating a significant learning process.
