Resumen
This degree work is based on experiences with indigenous communities in Colombia, in particular, with people of the Arhuaco community of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, the Muisca people and the Sikuani people in the eastern plains of Colombia. By collecting the ancient and ancestral knowledge of these communities, we can analyze their cosmogony through their songs and dances, as well as understand their history in music and dance. Rescuing this knowledge is of utmost importance to preserve their knowledge and their customs. In music, you can find cultural richness for our society, which can be an important legacy for the learning of ancestral songs and dances. All indigenous communities in Colombia have music and dance, so it is a giant task for musicians and researchers to preserve it. In this case, the music of the Arhuaco people and the Muisca people have similarities. Both are very old, have a modal nature, and they use instruments such as flutes, drums, ocarinas, among others. It is a commitment to the culture of our country not letting die this knowledge that has been hidden for a long time.
