Resumen
This research analyses the process of construction of the curriculum from a proposal for a strengthened secondary education called “Communicartion as a form of expression and humanization”. This curricular proposal was designed and implemented from 2010 to 2015 in the Minuto de Buenos Aires School, located in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. As a part of this research, a qualitative study was carried out and the research tools used were taken from the Grounded Theory. The research shows that the process of curriculum development changed the teaching practices, thanks to dialogue of knowledge, collaborative work, commitment and a great deal of creativity. As a result of the research done, school teachers could reflect on their work, their personal and professional goals, which led to other ways of understanding education, school and students, and also to build a deeper ownership of the critical pedagogy.
