Resumen
In this document, the general and specific description of the control logics for each stage in the plant entry process of a wastewater treatment plant is covered. Emphasis is placed on the description of processes, instrument integration, control philosophies, parameter configuration, and necessary alarms for each of the aforementioned stages. The established controls for each stage are presented based on the expected plant operation, depending on client needs and available budgets.
Subsequently, the methodologies for programming PLCs in each stage of the plant entry process for wastewater treatment plants (PTAR) are described. Firstly, the methodology for developing programming libraries for communication and integration of instruments with the programmable logic controller (PLC) is detailed. Subsequently, the development of the programming methodology for controlling the functional processes of each stage is described, as outlined in the control logics and philosophies.
Finally, the methodology for developing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) programming is presented. This includes the description of functional blocks for creating front-end components that incorporate the overall visualization of process states, alarm visualization, alarm parameter configuration, process control parameter configuration, system user configuration, and access levels.
