Abstract

The development of this work will focus mainly on the elaboration of a procedure to obtain a plan of production at strategic level in the company PRODUCTOS RIMAR LTDA, obtaining this plan allows to identify many opportunities for improvement, since the company currently Does not make its production planning based on some type of technical criteria or procedure, this planning is done in an empirical way presenting difficulties in the control of the production and failures in the allocation of resources. The plan is determined to make the best use of the capabilities meeting the requirements of sales and / or orders. It will have historical data of demand, data related to overtime, volume of production, inventory policies, human resource, customer satisfaction, which will be the basis for the production plan.
