Resumen
The occupation of the eastern hills of Bogota, is a problem that affects the city for more than 40 years ago, even after been declared as a National Forest Reserve Order according the agreement 30 by INDERENA at 1976. Some facts make some visible this problem, like the fast expansion of the urban area throughout the zone; quarrying extraction for different construction materials; increased illegal builders; the urban population increase, declining rural population and generally land uses that do not correspond fully with the millennium ecosystem conservation with which the Forest Reserve (RFPBOB) was created. In addition, this situation is compounded by the declaration of the eastern hills as part of the national ecological city in the year 2000, so the soil cover could only be aimed at the preservation, restoration and sustainable use.. It is taken as a case study, the sub-basin of the Yomasa broken, it is located in the southern part of this reservation in Usme. It is intended to study the problem of change of land cover and its relationship with the population dynamics and analysis of national aircraft development from 1960 to 2010, make a multi -temporal analysis before and after the declaration of the protected area. For this, geographic information systems for the analysis of mapping , satellite imagery from different years , overlapping spatial data will be used; population analysis; study of territorial planning tools and statistical methods. According to the above, the results show that an increase in population implies a reduction in hectares within the reserve and a dynamic transformation is evident in the study area.
