Resumen
The present project consisted of the manufacture of an electronic prototype for the locking system of the front tire of a bicycle, through the communication of a remote control and a microcontroller that activates a linear actuator coupled to the frame of the bicycle and the brake guide. As a result of the research, tests were carried out with 2 different prototypes, the first was limited in strength and power, denying the correct performance between the linear actuator and the brake guide, consequently an independent power supply coupled to a linear actuator will be implemented. which uses a greater amount of energy for its correct operation, in this way the complete locking of the front tire of the bicycle was achieved. It is expected that the development of this project will generate a great social impact at the metropolitan level, since it will provide an alternative solution that will help mitigate the problem surrounding bicycle theft in a city as unsafe as Bogotá.
