Robotics has become a great small pretext for the development of research activities, study and implementation of alternatives, some of them innovative and entrepreneurial, that facilitate the solution of everyday problems in society. “Multibot. Robotics applied to urban rescue", is a book that collects the fundamental aspects, achieved in the development of a research project financed by the District University Francisco José de Caldas and carried out by the research groups in Autonomous Mobile Robotics (Rome) and in Electronic Control (Gice). Among the fundamental aspects presented is the development of reactive cooperation algorithms, developed in a team of four mobile robots, each with sensory fusion algorithms, artificial vision and bioinspired systems through the implementation of a novel proposal of controllers. based on emotions, all with the main objective of providing the Colombian and international scientific community with new study elements in the area of service robotics.
