Apoyo en la caracterización de la vegetación y flora para la formulación del POF de las regionales de la Corporación Autónoma Regional de Cundinamarca - CAR; Ubaté, Sabana Centro y Almeidas-Guatavita

Abstract

The CAR and authority responsible for the management of coverage in its area of ​​jurisdiction, sets in its four -year action plan (PAC) 2020-2023 the objective of formulating and adopting the POF forest management plan, therefore, the formulation began of the same from secondary and primary information consulted of official documents, for three of the fourteen regional addresses of the CAR: Ubaté, Sabana Centro and Almeidas Guatavita. This work focused solely on supporting the characterization of the biotic component (Flora), coverage, life areas and biomes for each of the regional ones, for this the "comprehensive and sustainable forest management guide", was taken as a methodological reference, resulting in useful information to qualify 12 forest indicators already built by the CAR, which give rise to an important input in decision making regarding the allocation of categories of the administrative units of forest management (UAOF)
