Resumen
Language teaching has been recently on the scope of may segments of society making institutions and society to invest in improving english teaching for colombians. Many of these efforts have brought about positive changes vis-a-vis the way it was taught in the past. However, and despite all the efforts, it is common to see that some of the material used in class does not relate to the student's identity nor it does to his or her previous life experience. This often results in reluctance and apathy from the students, towards using english as a mean of communication in class. In this creation project it is intended to adapt popular board games using written and visual imagery that relates the student with his identity and previous life experiences to elicit and prompt more fluent and authentic outcomes and therefore facilitate the oral performance of english as a foreign language.
